유합치를 가진 유치열의 Fourier 해석에 의한 형태학적 연구

Abstract
결론
Hellman dental age II A- II C에 해당하는 2755명의 아동의 구강검진을 통해 얻어진 하악
유측절치와 유견치의 유합, 하악 유중절치와 유측절치의 유합을 가진 석고모형 각 10개씩을
선택하여 유합이 없는 쪽을 대조군으로 삼아 Fourier 해석법을 이용하여 평균형태를 구하고
양 군간의 형태학적 비교를 시행하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
1. 모든 군에서 1차 성분파의 기여율이 높아, 1차 성분파가 형태의 특징을 거의 결정하였
고, 그 분포가 일정하였다.
2. 유합치를 가진 치열궁의 평균형태곡선의 특징으로 곡선의 변이점은 하악 유측절치가 유
견치와 유합된 경우 양측 제 2유구치와 좌우 유중절치부의 중앙, 하악 유중 절치가 유측절
치와 유합된 경우 양측 제 2유구치 부위와 유합치의 근심우각부였다.
3. 치열궁의 평균형태곡선은 유합치를 가진 측이 대조측보다 내측에 위치하였고, 좌우 비대
칭을 나타내며, 그 경향은 하악 유중절치와 유측절치가 유합된 경우가 하악 유측절치와 유
견치가 유합된 경우보다 더 뚜렷하였다.

2755 children with Hellman dental age IIA-IIC were surveyed for the detection of fused
primary teeth. From 85 stone casts of the children having fused teeth, 10 casts with the
fusion of primary central and lateral incisor and 10 casts with the fusion of primary
lateral and canine were selected. With these casts as samples, Fourier's analysis was
performed to compare the average dental arch form of the side of the deciduous
dentition with fused tooth (fused side) and that of opposite normal side(control side).
The results were as follows :
1. The 1st component wave showed the highest contribution rate in all groups, which
meant it almost determines the form of the dental arches.
2. The average form of the dental arches of BC fused teeth was characterized by
deviation from normal curve in the second deciduous molars and the central region of
the deciduous central incisors. In cases of AB fused dentition, deviation was observed in
mesial region of the fused teeth and second deciduous molars.
3. The average form of the dental arches of fused deciduous teeth was smaller than
those of the normal group. The average form of the dental arches of the fused
deciduous teeth was asymmentrical in the fused teeth. The tendency was more
remarkable in AB fused dentition than in BC fused group.
